Issues with CPAP mask removal

So, I've been diagnosed with sleep apnea for around 6 months now. Started therapy at the end of January, and had no issues with it. First night, I slept 8hr with mask on. They started me on APAP, to confirm settings, as I didn't sleep enough during the sleep study. After 2 months, they switched me to a new machine, and over to CPAP, and I can't for the life of me figure out why I can't sleep with it on. I went from averaging about 5-7.5 hr sleep a night on APAP, to 2.5 now on CPAP. The last week has been the worst, as I'm barely getting 1 hour with it. I still feel more rested than I did prior, but not as I did during that first month. The physician's assistant I spoke with said I was doing extremely well, and that they saw no issues at all.

Just looking for some advice on this. I've been trying to adjust the mask fit, adjust humidity levels, etc. Not sure what else I can do.
