First off I have to say that this isn't my first post in this community and every time I do post here I get so much useful information.
So its been about one week that I've been using the my Cpap machine and I've been averaging a little over 7 hours of usage with less than 3 events per hour. the last 4 days I've had 1 or less events per hour since and haven't taken my mask off at all since I'm getting used sleeping with it. When I took my sleeping test I had an AHI index of 23.5 and I have no idea how long I've been dealing with sleep apnea in general. Even though I've been getting a decent amount of sleep l feel like I've made 0 improvement and still feel shit throughout the day. I talked to a family friend that's a respiratory therapist that told me my body was basically deprived of oxygen and that its finally recovering so i'ts going to take some time. I feel like I'm only using about 10% percent of my brain and its the most frustrating thing ever. I'm just wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if I'm expecting positive results too early. Also, I'm seeing a neurologist next week just in case because I literally feel like my brain is broken.
