Unable to exhale through nasal mask

Hi guys,

I tried my auto BiPAP (iBreeze 25A) for the first time last night with the Airfit P10. I had an absolutely horrible time, especially breathing out. Breathing in was great, my IPAP was going up to around 10 ish, and it felt super easy. Breathing out however was really laboured (EPAP around 4-5). It got to the point where my limbs were tingling from CO2 buildup/oxygen deprivation and I started seeing stars in my eyes. I had to take if off because I felt like I was suffocating.

Is this normal with the Airfit P10? Even when I turn the machine off and try to breathe out it feels really difficult. It's not too bad to breathe out if the P10 is out of the machine though, it's just as soon as I connect it to the pipe it becomes a nightmare. Can anyone recommend me a better mask that will make exhaling much easier?
